Madness and death await you all!

Well no, that's a lie. More bloggery is the limit of my shenanigans at the minute. Just home from work and knackered, though I'm planning some more Don't Panic work before bed, along with a delightful banoffee hot chocolate. Mwaaaa! So I hvae some more Cyril! The Action Monk in my head, along with a stupendously silly idea that I'm not even sure'll be worth the effort, but when has that ever stopped me.

So, something of a guilt post, I seem to be neglecting ye olde blog at the minute. Personally, I blame this whole "full-time job" bit. It's just not pleasant.

Dream sweetly, audience meat. Or Debbie as you're known at the minute....

Also...

Keep forgetting to put it down here, but we have a website up and running for the comic, it's the imaginatively named www.dontpaniccomics.blogspot.com. There's bugger all on it yet, but I plan to put teaser images and such up there and anything else that seems good to me.

Don't Panic!

Yes, the first bit of our shiny comics work is up! Just been put on www.talesofthe.com. Follow the link to check it out. Ready money for when we finish printing it. Mwahahaha!

Also.

Something more sensible. Sadly. I'm still gutted about not managing to get the first issue of our comic together on time. (I will be referring to lack of ink as technical difficulties for the forseeable future, dammit.) On the plus-side though, there's been a spot offered on talesofthe.com, which is a profoundly tasty alternative to not doing anything for another fecking month. All hail Stephen Downey for the offer! Hooray!

Mein title!

Ok, I'll grant you I may not be Dr Whiskey, but I may be referred to as Professor Vino Destructo! No, really.

Things. Also, stuff.

Until I get a proper grip on the whole blogging thing, what I'm putting up and what I plan to achieve, I'm going to just make a few random posts as things pop into my head. First up, things what I do liking to.

One of my main stops on the interwebs, pretty much the first blog I started following is Warren Ellis' site, the imaginatively titled www.warrenellis.com. Pretty self-explanatory really, a mine of interesting links and information in general, it's been responsible for pointing me in the direction of stuff I would have had no idea about, including Coilhouse and Ectoplasmosis. A pair of blogs that I've been following for a good while too, though to be honest Coilhouse focuses on fashion more that I can care about and Ectomo's been going downhill for a while now. At least the Lovecraft freak in me will always have a soft spot for Cthulhu Cthursday and the fact that they introduced me to what has become one of my favourite things in the cosmos, Caustic Soda: The Podcast. Another fine entertainment product from Canada, along with Nomeansno and Kids in the Hall, but still not enough to make up for Bryan Adams, they describe their work as "hard science for soft people", which is as good a description as any. I recommend Jehovah and Space Warfare.

And that'll do for now, went nowhere near how I planned/expected it to go, but I'm finding that a lot lately. Oh well, bed.
